Effective September 28, 2026
1. Free trial
A new Workspace can start with a free trial, with no card and no charge. We recommend using the trial to evaluate Kafka before subscribing.
2. Full refund within 7 days
If the Customer asks within 7 calendar days after the first charge of a paid plan, monthly or annual, we refund the full amount of that charge and end the subscription.
This period applies to the first charge of each Workspace. Renewals and plan changes do not reopen the period.
3. After 7 days
- We do not give full or prorated refunds, on monthly or annual plans.
- The Customer can cancel at any time, in Settings, Subscription. Cancellation stops future charges, and the Workspace stays available until the end of the period already paid.
- Plan changes do not result in cash refunds. The Subscription screen shows the amount of each change before confirmation.
4. Incorrect charges
If we charge twice, or charge an amount different from the contracted amount, we refund the full difference, with no time limit.
5. Suspension for violation
A Workspace suspended or closed for violation of the Terms of Service is not entitled to a refund.
6. How to request
A User with permission to administer the Workspace writes to contato@kafka.com.br with the company's CNPJ, the account e-mail and the date of the charge. We reply within 5 business days.
An approved refund goes back to the same card, through Stripe. The credit appears on the statement according to the card issuer's timeline, which can take up to two statements. We cancel or adjust the corresponding service invoice.
7. Card disputes
We ask the Customer to contact us before disputing a charge with the card issuer. While a dispute is open, we can suspend the Workspace.
8. Rights guaranteed by law
This Policy does not limit any right that the law guarantees to the Customer, including the right of withdrawal under art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor), when it applies.
